Veterinary Technician
Eric is a veterinary technician at both Companion Pet Care and Indian Creek Pet Hospital. He has a BS in biology from Emory University and is pursuing his associate’s in veterinary technology from St. Petersburg College so that he can become a certified technician. He held a six-week internship at C.R.O.W. (The Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife) on Sanibel and shadowed doctors at both ICPH and Coral vet clinic while still in college. Eric chose to work in the veterinary field because he finds it fulfilling to see how happy a healthy pet can make its owner. He also takes pride in making sure every process that goes into making your pet healthy goes as smoothly as possible with as little stress as possible for your pet. When Eric isn’t working he enjoys walking in the local parks, playing Pokemon GO, and watching anime curled up with his dog Emi.
Aleese M.
Lead Receptionist
Aleese started as an intern at Indian Creek Pet Hospital. She completed her internship and became certified as a veterinary assistant. She was then hired onto the team as a receptionist. Since being hired, her love for animal medicine has grown. She plans on pursuing surgical technology. At home, Aleese has two dogs, a pot-belly pig, and a parrot. Outside of work, she loves spending time watching the sunrise, taking her dogs to the beach, and spending quality time with friends.
Vanessa
Veterinary Assistant
Vanessa is originally from Cape Coral, Florida, but moved to Michigan in 2017. After receiving her CVA, she moved back to Florida when she started with Indian Creek Pet Hospital. Her love for animals started when she was young, and she would bring home sick pets to take care of them and give them the love they deserve. Vanessa has a large furry (and scaly) family that includes three dogs Gator, Jedi and Rey, two bearded dragons, Fergi and Helios, a cat, Kratos, a hamster, Hamilton, and a pond full of Koi fish! In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach with her daughter and spending time with her friends and family.

My name is Nicole. I have wanted to be in the veterinary field since I was 5 years old and now I get to live my dream everyday. I am currently in school following my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have two dogs Olaf and Leo. My free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and family going fishing, camping, or looking for shark teeth.

Veterinary Assistant
Alexis, although originally from Ohio, found her way to Companion Pet Care through a previous coworker. She’s always had a love of animals, but wondered if it was something she wanted to pursue as a career. However, after working and helping the animals, she’s decided it’s been the best decision she’s ever made. In her spare time, Alexis likes to spend time with her two cats, Marlin and Mako. She also enjoys being outdoors and trying new things!

Certified Veterinary Assistant
My name is Ken’Dayzha (aka Kenny) & I was born in Fort Myers, FL but I was raised in Valdosta, Ga. I’ve had a compassionate love for animals since I was a little girl. I pursued college for dental assisting then changed career fields again to be a certified nursing assistant. After years of loving the fact that I could make a difference in human lives, I decided to pursue college in the veterinary field to help animals. The love I have for this field is far beyond an explanation. I enjoy being able to meet new pets and see each of their personalities every day, making animal’s feel better warms my heart. I have 4 dogs and 2 snakes that I care for at home. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy eating at new restaurants daily!

Frank is originally from Tampa, FL. He went to Cape Coral Technical College where he graduated with his CVA (Certified Veterinary Assistant). Frank found his love for the veterinary medical field because of his love for his current K9 companions at home, Beba, Nina, Maya, and Ian. He also has some turtles at home as well! In his free time, Frank enjoys spending time with his pets and being around his friends. His goal here at Companion Pet Care is to become a Certified Veterinary Technician!
Sophia
Veterinary Assistant
Sophia is originally from Flemington, New Jersey but moved to Fort Myers to pursue her bachelor’s degree in biology at FGCU. She will be graduating in May with her BS in Biology with minors in Theatre and Interdisciplinary Studies. Sophia grew up on a farm, helping her grandparents with the chickens and rabbits ever since she could walk, this is where her love for animals began. Sophia officially began her career with animals when she was just 16 when she worked at a cat shelter in her hometown helping homeless cats find their forever families. Sophia is a pre-veterinary student whose passion for helping people and animals hasn’t changed since she was growing up! She has 1 rescue kitty at home named Malachite who likes to think he rules the roost. Outside of the clinic, Sophia enjoys dancing, gardening, and cooking, when she isn’t busy studying of course!
