We prefer to see patients by appointment to allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures. Emergency cases may take precedence over regularly scheduled appointments, so an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please call us or use the email appointment form on our website to schedule your pet’s appointment. For new clients, please note we need your pet’s prior medical records at least 24 hours prior to their appointment. We offer drop off appointments too!

Late Appointment/Cancellation Policy

We make every attempt to keep our appointments on time. In order to facilitate this, we strongly encourage you to show up 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. This allows for a smooth check-in process to update your pets’ medical records.

We do have a late fee* (7-14 minutes past your appointment time) for repetitve tardiness as follows:

1st time: Warning
2nd time: $10 late fee charged at the time of the appointment.
3rd time: $15 late fee and will be asked to pre-pay for any appointments at the time of scheduling.
If you arrive 15 minutes past your appointment time, we do ask to reschedule. If your pet is ill and needs immediate medical attention, your pet will be seen as a “walk-in/fit-in” appointment. You may have a much longer wait time than a scheduled appointment.

We ask for a 24-hour cancellation notice. We do have fees* for repetitve “No-Shows.”

1st time: Our staff ensures to call to make sure you and your pet are okay, offer a warning for any further “No-Shows.”
2nd time: $10 missed reservation fee
3rd time: $35 missed reservation fee and must pre-pay for future appointments at the time of scheduling.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your pet’s protection and the protection of other pets, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier.

Payment Options

We require full payment at the time we render service to your pet(s). We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, pet insurance and CareCredit.

Pet Insurance

Pet insurance helps pet families pay for veterinary care. Pet insurance premiums are typically paid on a monthly basis and can be used to help offset some of your pet’s treatment costs. These are reimbursement plans, and they vary as to what they cover. There are many excellent pet insurance companies, including Trupanion, Nationwide and Pets Best. We encourage our clients to take advantage of CareCredit financing rather than forego treatment when your pet needs it the most.
